Fishery scale (D2.1): D2.1 is a review of knowledge base of the economic and social aspects of and incentives to discarding. The review is based on (i) a literature survey identifying economic and social reasons for discarding fish, (ii) a brief outline of models suitable for assessing economic consequences of the landing obligation, (iii) description of the case studies and identification of important gaps across these.
