DiscardLess Strategies for the gradual elimination of discards in European fisheries

Tentative Program of the DiscardLess meeting in Rome, March 2017.

The DiscardLess meeting will meet in FAO Headquarters in Rome, on 7-10 March 2017.
7-8 March is for project participants only.
9-10 March is an open stakeholders conference on the topic “What can Science do to help with the Landing Obligation? An update on what we know about discards and about the strategies to reduce them”.

The conference will start at 13.00 on Thursday 9th, and finishes at 13.00 on Friday 10th.
A specific Mediterranean workshop is foreseen on Thursday 9th in the morning.
A more detailed agenda will follow.
