At the first annual meeting in Boulogne March 2016, the partners in the Discardless project met to discuss progress and upcoming challenges with the newly implemented landing obligation in European fisheries.

At the meeting a seminar with invited stakeholders from the Eastern Channel fishing area was held to exchange ideas and to share experiences on how a sustainable and viable fisheries business can be maintained in compliance with the new legislation.
