    Very windy this eve. Heavy showers & a few thunderstorms. Winds veering W will strengthen further, risk of some damaging gusts. Very windy overnight, widespread showers. Rain in N. Severe gusts in N & along the W coast. Lows 3 to 6C with the strong winds moderating towards morn.
