Strategies for the gradual elimination of discards in European fisheries
In the week 6-10 March 2017, DiscardLess will organize an open meeting marking, the first half of the project. We will present the numerous results achieved since March 2015 across several topics and fishing regions, and share our most recent knowledge gathered on options for discards reduction. We want to discuss the use and usefulness of these results, and to agree on future directions for the next two years.
The event will take place in FAO Fisheries and Aquaculture Department buildings, Rome, Italy.
