    Teachers! Parents! It is legal and perfectly welcome to email scientists asking for a PDF of their paper. Until all papers are free, please RT to make this more widely known. And fyi, scientists don't get the $$ from sales of papers so all it costs us is 1 minute of time!

    A high school teacher emailed asking for a PDF for her class, “embarrassed she couldn’t afford $40”. :(

    The 2018 Annual Economic Report on the EU Fishing Fleet shows a significantly improved performance since 2009. The EU fleet registered record-high net profits of €1.3bn in 2016, a 68% increase compared to 2015. Forecasts for 2017 & 2018 look positive →

    We need to make this happen. Let's realize the upside while minimizing the downside.

    Climate change will affect productivity & cause fish to migrate. If fishery management improves and accounts for both, we can have more (yes more) sustainable seafood by 2100.
